I shot my first double-header this weekend, and I couldn’t have asked for two sweeter families—or better fall weather. On Friday night, I met up with my little ranch brother (I worked at a dude ranch during college summers, where I met Tyler), his partner, and their three very energetic but incredibly lovable dogs: Aspen, Ruby, and Butters (yes, South Park).
Whitetail Woods is forever one of my favorite Minnesota parks. We took a leisurely stroll through the prairie and woods and along the lake. Some of us took more potty breaks, and got more treats, than the rest of us, but we all had a delightful time. I’d never done a shoot with dogs before, let alone three pretty quick ones, so all I was hoping for was ONE non-blurred family shot. And success, we got more than that, even if a doggy-doo bag also crept in.
Tyler and Mitch are also starting a cool new urban farming adventure, and so we snagged a couple of website headshots for that, too. So happy to work with this family, and to have them in Minnesota!
