Kendall and Rae are one of my favorite Northfield couples. So, this was a dream shoot for me in a lot of ways. I basically tagged along on some of their most beloved rituals: We spent a rainy morning at Martha’s eating flaky pastry. From there, we went back to their place to make coffee, which they share on their porch with their two sweet dogs, Maggie and Cedar. We strolled downtown Northfield, stopping by the Division Street apartments they used to live in before they bought their adorable house.
When you’re anywhere with one of these people, you know you’re going to have to stop and chat…they are two of the more well-connected folks in Northfield. We just happened to run into two of their dearest friends, a couple who was at their intimate backyard wedding on 2.2.22. It’s obvious they carry the open, big, and authentic love they have for each other into so many other relationships.
While I love wedding photos, if I could go back in time, this is the kind I session I’d replace our formal-wear photos with: Shots of my best friend and I living our life, sharing all the small things that make it ours, that make it special to us. Rae and Kendall, I’m so glad I was able to capture some of these moments and share this time with you all. Thank you!
