I haven’t done many newborn sessions, but they are definitely some of my most special shoots. Every little gesture, face crinkle, coo, and cry is magical and worth capturing. This session with Emma, Alex, and Hayden was extra special because I’ve known E&A since grade school. It was an honor to meet the person they created and see them as brand-new parents. They’ve taken to it like fish to water.
Their South Minneapolis home was warm, quiet, and joy-filled. Also, Emma has one of the best decor senses of anyone I know, so it was fun to see how she’s effortlessly woven an adorable nursery into their simple, quality, and polished home palette.
I can’t wait to watch Hayden grow, but I’m really grateful I was able to capture him in this nugget phase — thank you, all!
